So no vertex paint exporting with blender... This is bad news. Let's start a new thread: open jobs for vertex painters! Just kidding. Maybe the normal map and the way oblivion manages light and shades could replace vertex shading...
to Dave_91: Quote:The top parts of the towers look a little square to me though, originally, they were more rounded or had a more rounded look... but maybe that's just me.Oops, there were a problem in some meshes that caused the faces to be separated from each other, so that the edges were way too pronounced. Problem fixed, thanks! |

no no, it works. I think.
read here Quote:partial success: enable either VCol Light or VCol Paint on the material panel. The vertex colors will be exported, but the NiVertexColorProperty will not be created by the script though, you need to add it yourself. Something is still missing. so you only have to add a nivertexcolorproperty to activate the the vert painting I think.

I have good news and bad news. Let's start by the good one:
Stilgar is currently working on the textures, and the first samples he sent me are very promising  The bad news is that I'm running through export problem with blender since I switched to the latest version of blender. The weird thing is that the problem remained after I switched back to the old blender  I'll solve that quickly... But anyway I have finished a couple of other exterior meshes (not exported of course...). Cheers, RWTW |

Haven't seen you in a while, hi. Have you tried redownloading the plugins? they might have gotten screwed up when you upgraded.

Export problem solved!
This is an alternative for the bridge, and since there is no pillars, it could be used in interiors too, to link two raised doors for example: http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5437367 End piece: http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5437370 http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5437369 Broken piece: http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5437368 http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5437371 As usual, suggestions welcome! |

Sweet, we'll definitely use this outdoors some, indoors some. The dwemer bridges in TES3 were very multi-purpose.
What exactly have you done so far? I know there's - 3 towers - One misc ruin piece - Round hut (2 versions) - Bridge (with and without arches) - Bridge End - Bridge ruin All we need are a few more misc ruin pieces if anything, and we can probably get to landscaping Leader of the Morag Tong Hail Mephala

Quote:I know there's That's about it, except that I updated the misc ruin piece to add some details and some holes. I think that we should have a some more objects before to start CS work, we don't even have a door to enter Dumac... So I plan to do that piece next (just the round entrance in the middle): http://www.silgrad.com/wbb2/attachment.p...ntid=7709. Or maybe should I make something more exclusive? |
