Quote:Originally posted by Deeza Glad the portal is liked! About that statue, I first tried to contact zaneeba_slave a long while ago, but he's not currently up to modeling it right now. He said to consider himself like a wandering nomad, whose productivity and willpower is spontaneous. He said he might pop up later, but has no idea when that'll be. I'm sure he also has RL stuff to take care of, too. I can try to make that statue, but I was wanting some sort of concept art for it first. I mentioned that statue and what I was needing with it, as an idea for Piscasis to sketch, but he hasn't posted any concept for it yet. It's the physical pose, and armor the Argonian statue will be wearing, that I need help visualizing the most. I can always import the Argonian NPC model into my modeling program, but I would need to make some sort of good armor for it. I was also wanting a new type of armor for the statue to wear, so that the armor itself might later be separated from the statue model and actually made into wearable armor by the player at some point as well. Yeah, don't let those little turds get you down. Dingleberries stick for a while, but eventually they fall off.

Hmm. I shall try to get to work on some concept art for that. Stay tuned!
Edit: I'm planning to make this statue in the style of a totem pole (with different figures stacked on top of each other). That way, hopefully it could be made as a modular set which could be rearranged for different villages... The one at Kangumabog would just be particularly big and impressive.

Shadowgame made a totem pole a while back. It was before he joined us, I think. Perhaps it can be easily adapted...?

The link in his sig takes you here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZswnmsuO-xE . The totem pole is there. The bird at the top might well be a stylised Sarpa...

That's the kind of thing I was thinking of.
If it could be split into individual sections, add a few more creatures, we could easily make a dozen different versions of it for all the different tribes...

You'll have to give SG a nudge then. His priority are the Shrines though so it's just something to be looking at. Personally, I'd probably take that model as it is...although it could be adapted...

Hey, Deeza! It looks like I found Eikkai-Ottul, defender of Kangumabog. The cheeky little bugger was hiding away in the Swampmoth Island mod: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17337 . Kevin, the creator, makes the point that "This is a mod & a modder's resource. Anyone can use this mod however they wish." This takes another load of Koniption's shoulders.... =)
