The name Michael Kirkbride is linked with one of the Ancient Devs who conceived Creation before there were Aedra or Daedra. Do not take the name of MK in vain.
Because loyalty is not to be spoken of and honour is to be endured. Whilst courage is to be survived. These virtues belong to silence.

My idea goes as such...
There is an ancient altmer conspiracy involved with the fall of the S'rha(I keep wanting to type it S'rah). The S'rha empire had started to achieve a technological superiority over what was the altimer empire at the time, and knowing the altemer they would have very well done something nasty to conquer the S'rha. Steeling the power of a living god is the only thing terrible enough that I can think of that some altemer secret society could work to cover up. This secret society would most definitely be one of the nasty types. Anyone who tried to go public about them ended up disappearing. They would ties in with several governments and there factions. Using there sneaky subterfuge skills to keep the altimemer people the "enlightened" peoples. Something like the S'rah's achievements (most of which where later stolen and giving altemer credits) becoming public knowledge could. The main quest would focus around the archeological "excavations" of certain S'rha sites. These would have been the 6 great cities of there empire. Each one with an elemental and social theme in there carvings, artifacts, and Sentients. The sentients are Robot-like things that use the body and soul of a jinn (genie) to power it. They would appear from animated armor to stone statues, or in occasions when a hart stone (the container for the jinn sole and powersorce of the sentient) "broke" and gathered random objects to act as its "body". Each ruin would have some artifact of the long dead champion of the S'rha. They would serve as goodies to keep the player going in the quest line. They would be guarded by a unique one-of-a-kind boss creature. The quest line would have the player work an expiditeary crew throught the quest line and be more than fetch this or kill that. And throught the quest line as more evidence becomes apparent of the S'rha's achievements more signs started to come forth of the secret. May began as a normal archeological expedition. You do little jobs here and there. Then complications keep arising. Funding gets cut off to the point of where the player has too fund the expedition to keep it going. As you work on factions start to show interest in the excavations. House Telavanni may send a War wizard to assist in the excavation while the mages guild works hard to discredit your findings. At the city of shadows site a morog tong assassin history puff will come to help in the excavation as stuff keeps getting stolen by thieves? guild operatives, or an attempted assassination by a dark brotherhood assassin. The Altemer Secret society gets more sloppy throught the quest line to the point of a full out assault at the last site. City setup- (The earth site would be the only one assessable at the beginning) Earth- Location would be jungle. Haven?t come up with a clever name for it. Combat/warrior favorable artifacts, miscellaneous items show a farming/mining industry. Fire- Only thoughts would be its location being on some offshore volcanic island and it had been a city of smiths, smelters, and artisans Water- The Jade city Almost all of it slid into the sea. Except for the lighthouse (could still be in use) City of merchants and traders Was a major ancient trading outpost. Air- City of storms The major focus of the magic?s in the S'rha. Protected be a magically powered storm Lots of magical "tesla" devises (some act as traps). Shadow- Can't think up of a good title for it Crime worked like an economy in this city Didn?t use sentients but rather employed the services of the Jinn Light- City of the sun/The golden city Buried. Takes a sort of a "jurney to the center of the earth" adventure to get there. Questions would help me explain this in much greater clarity. |

A dungeon driven main quest? well, I don't like dungeon drive quests at all.. but whatever the case the main quest must soon be started properly.. And S'rha is something we made, and that could make people say it has no hold in lore(not that it has..)

Sort of of sounds too Knights of the Nine for me... Was thinking of incorporating the fall of the S'rha into a Mages Guild Questline.
For ALL my concept art in one place look here:

I believe this thread may be confusing to new members so I'll archive it.
