The sand worms are incredibly strong in melee but are stationary, the spring from the ground, and from that point tehy fight the player from thei half submerged position. They will have entirely new animations to be done by our incredible animator Heywood. They will have some ranged in the form of slamming the ground and a few more undecided. They will be used sparingly in dungeons, because in-doors they are extremely deadly.
We also of course are making the S'rha Totems. Believe me, there is infinitely more lore supporting giant spiders than notm and even if there was a book that mentioned the worlds largest spider, who would give a damn? I only argue the big points, I don't make it my life mission to make this hard for you guys. The desert spiders wil be very unique, how they will be finaly done is undecided.

I think the sand worms will be a very cool enemy, it's new too :bananarock:
We plan to have our spiders in caves, not outdoors...i feel that our spiders would be more scary in a web filled tunnel then in an open field. Our spiders will be black, fast, and have a dangerous poisonous bite :brew:

The second and third levels are built, I just have to clutter them and add lights,Traps . The levels after will belong to the spiders. Maybe two or three, I want this dungeon to be massive and the way that it is going, it will be. =)

Nice screens.
Speaking of spiders, will you perhaps make them fall off ceiling? Like in Arx Fatalis. I know it would require new animations, but it would be really good for scaring players.
