Unfortunately this game is an adult game with adult themes of sex, drugs, violence and the series has always revolved around organised crime, drug dens, guns and violence go with that.

Its just unfortunate so many parents of young children will thoughtlessly buy this for their kids of about age 10 upwards which I really am strongly against! 16+ maybe? but the 18+ it gets in UK is fair really

But the physics and graphics are on a new level which will be seen throughout all sorts of new releases Fallout 3 included! Theres some brilliant games coming out and nowadays amazing graphics are 80% standard, its the gameplay we all crave and a lot of games really dont do it for me. GTA, GT, and TES all please me as i play for depth and fredom. I really cant play liniar games...

anyway, buy violent if you are happy with the fact it aint real and you arnt a giddy teenage gang member! DONT buy if its for your kids or you dont enjoy mature action drama films and games. Play the storyline and its like a 10-20 hour action film.

Because physics don't come into effect anywhere in any place without violence of some sort. Crashing a car, hitting someone, falling over, how else can physics play a role in the game.

EDIT: He walks realisticly, jumps over fences walls etc. and rolls when he does so.

I just respect video games as a legitmate artistic medium, I wouldn't be here if I didn't. My idols are men like Hideo Kojima or Molynuex. I think describing it as a 10-20 action film is spot on. I don't feel the game should be banned, and if people enjoy it then fine, but hte sentement that the game is perfect, and the attraction the gaming press has to it is simply unwarranted. Just as I wouldn't want Holywood action films with nifty effects to be the focus of the art form, I want video games, and gamers, to fight for the respect the genre deserves. The deck is already stacked against us, and I dislike the direction what is defined as "inovative" and "perfect" is going.

Let me clear it up, by perfect I could find no technical faults with it

I would say in the Fantasy RPG genre TES:4 is winning. In the gritty, modern, American underworld RPG genre, GTA has clinched it since GTA 3 1st came out. Racing game wise Gran Tourismo wins hats down.

So Genre-wise im sure this game is presently perfect. And sadly for non-mature-violence genre lovers it will get better with each release which means eventually bones will splinter and tear through flesh when you shoot someones leg with a shotgun.

Respect for graphical and physics engine achievement is respect for graphical and physics engine achievement no matter which way you look at it.

So credit where credit is due and we will all continue to only buy games which appeal to us...

Like i say though I condom some forms of press for marketing this game in a way which appeals to younger suggestible children!

Personally at 29 i will but it and enjoy it.

This physics engine, however, sounds really great. Maybe we'll see things like that for ESV
