Or alternatively one could interpret the "vampire" description of the Tsaesci literally, meaning the Akaviri men were both "eaten" and became part of the society (and this form of vampirism possibly gave them serpentine features). I'm quite fond of this one myself.
I don't see how Tsaesci can't wear armour though, surely they could make armour to fit their own form? It just means humanoids cant really wear it. |

They do wear armor during a certain battle. However, they became famous around Tariel for not wearing armor. It's in a book somewhere.

Just because somebody doesn't do something doesn't mean they can't. I don't remember reading that anywhere...

Try there may be 3 kinds of Tsaesci - isn't their leader a Dragon?
Also I have been speculating on slavery and the Tscaesci - re a ppoposal for an Elsweyr Quest. My take was that they would want slaves - to drink, for work, and to breed spies for their next invasion of Tamriel!

Naw, the Tiger-Dragon, Tosh Raka is king of Ka Po'Tun, the realm of the tiger folk. They are the mortal enemies of the Tsaesci in Akavir.

Yup, remembered the Tiger-Dragon, but I thought he became one as a response to Tscaesci-Dragon/s, or was that a third race in the area?
