Okay, let's stay on topic (I-day and maybe Queen Sonja of Norway - maybe another thread). It's a holiday, after all.

Yes, we love you Dutch people for spreading democracy! And even the French who gave us support just because they hate the Brits.
But, I was watching a parade today, like I do every year, and we had two Canadian groups walk in the parade, one was some group I forgot and the other was a band from Quebec. I just sat there and wondered how Canada played a major role in our independance. Do you Canadians have an independance day too?
Lol what?

Canada's would definately not be on our day, and it would be more like a Self-Rule day, because nothing was declared, Britain just gave Canada independance because they asked nicely, along with Australia and New Zealand.
Poor India was left out. The British still wanted their tea at low low prices Back on topic: Happy 4th America! or as they'd say south of the border in M?xico: ?Cuatro feliz de julio Am?rica! They just want to enjoy the party too
Lol what?

The fireworks display in NYC here was amazing. I live 12 miles away from where they were shooting, but it covered half of the sky from here.
Sorry, no pics. I like forts! You don't like forts? Screw you. This post has been edited 5,453 time(s), it was last edited by Beremat: Today, 53:83
