Here you go: http://www.humyo.com/FMVtRdg/East%20Coas...GGfvgId2Ng .
I probably will not be using the majority of these. I just put them all in this folder as I was collecting a list of potential candidates as textures for use. I'm sticking with some of the rock textures (which I really like) but, if exploring options for the East Coast, I'd consider Thai islands such as Phuket and Ko'Phi as inspiration. Just got annoyed again....Windows 7 does not accept the .dds plugin for Photoshop which means I can't work on textures until I find a suitable plugin. All current sources of advice have failed miserably.... ?(

Speaking of oriental rocks, have you had a look at Korthian's Akavir archive? There are a lot of very weird rock formations incorporated into that, some of which even have houses built into the sides. It shouldn't be too hard to get permission to use them either.

When you install PS on a 64bit system (Haz the same here), Both 32 and 64bits get installed. The normal 32bit goes into Program Fles (x86), install the DDS plugins there and run that version of PS.
64bit DDS plugin should be coming soon... I hope.

Quote:Originally posted by Deeza No, but those sound ace! So is the Akavir project basically dead now and it would just be a case of contacting Corthian? Houses built into cliff sides would be especially useful for the spiralling village and other ideas I had planned for Gan-Jugu. @ IS - Yeah, I read that but when I installed the plugin, it gave me the option of installing it in the 32 bit filepath but when I opened that version up, I still couldn't read or write .dds files.

I had a look at the images, is there anything in particular you'd want made from those?, Or is there some others you want? Kinda need a list.

Do you mean the textures I linked to?
Nothing really needs to be made with them. I just figured that if you were looking at textures then you might be able to pass something on that fit with them. I'm looking for an overall look that complements the rock textures with ground textures. I have an 'underwater rock' I was considering using as this will be another quite wet area...kind of like a vast rockpool. However, a grassy, muddy and/or swampy texture to go with the collection would be useful so I can get the region generation ideas sorted. Koniption is always working on new stuff but she could sure use some help. She may be able to assist more with things she'd like some help with. Oh, and there's always this thread: Open Model Claims . It's just that things just crop up at times and they're taken onboard before I have time to add them to this list.

Okay I'll take a look at the mud/swamp and grass textures , Yup I checked that thread, do often to see if it's been updated. Not sure if there is anything there I can do as I don't really touch clothing and stuff.
I've got the Garuda stuff to help with, but if she needs help with anything else she can nudge me, I'm always about somewhere

Quote:Originally posted by InsanitySorrow Really?? You mean it? :poorme: Yeahhhhh, you should see my "To Do" list for Blackmarsh - it's long. I have both my priorities and non-priorities on that list, but the priorities are usually the type of projects that take long time to complete, like the Hist Shrine tileset I'm currently working on, and the Garuda race (which will take long time to complete, too). I've labeled the priorities and highlighted the label in a color. IS, once you've gotten the Garuda files exported, and finished the Soulrest interiors that Ibsen needs, and if you feel up to take on more stuff, I could use some help. Without thinking, when Ibsen says he needs something else done that is in my department, I tend to say "I'll do it!". But that's usually because I don't think anyone else will do it...I know I am sometimes unreasonable with myself and what I can effectively finish on my own. Koniption
Yeah, don't let those little turds get you down. Dingleberries stick for a while, but eventually they fall off.
