Just got Oblivion and willing to help.
Hi everybody, I just got Oblivion for PC and Im interested in giving a helping hand. A few months back I started and am still working on my own Argonia mod for Morrowind and I want to contribute to this one also. I can landscape, do exterior/interior design, write books, etc. I am a noob at modeling, just started in Blender a short while back, but I can give that a shot, and I am fairly decent at texturing stuff.

You are so welcome...and just on time. I can't talk now (I have a mouth full of mince pie) but I'll be back soon to give you the lowdown on some potential projects that you might like to undertake. A very big welcome to you, zackg! Things are starting to really move with this mod now.

Okay...back again. We're still in the process of setting up a clear claims system that lets new members pick and choose their projects. That will come with the new region generation for Blackwood and other regions but for the time being I'm just going to have to 'debrief' you in person.

I remembered another option relating to textures. This thread: Hel Borne's Final Resource covers the use of medieval buildings in Gideon and elsewhere. As it stands there are textures (I think) but they lack the stained glass windows and so on. This could be quite a nice starter task.

I spent some time today making some trees for Murkwood over the last few hours and I think they look terrific, theyd really fit for the region (one looks identical to an outstretched hand, very creepy). Unfortunately I have to work in the morning so I dont have time to post screenies but Ill do it tomorrow. Til then.

Begin working with our 'mossy ruin' interior tileset to create a dungeon that will be used in our beta version.
This should be an easy job, even for a newcommer. There are already textures there that can be used and replicated with ease. Finally, and very, very importantly, I am extra keen to bring in a texturer who can finish off some of the new rocks provided by Sachiel besides re-texture some other rocks from SI so as to create a 'jungle set' that will help me to set up the region generation for our next region. This one is especially important right now. This is another easy job, its easy to make new rock textures. or at least make re-textures for rocks you already have. Two easy jobs for a new texturer, enjoy ya self
