Is there an official lexicon ?
Is there an official lexicon ?
or are the name assignment just speculated ? I know fore a fact the Arena name for Balmora was stone forest, and that there is a Bal-Ur and a Tel Mora, but I never found any lexicon. Always assumed Tel was a derivative from Telvanni and had something to do with magic I mean they even say stuff like *the tower of Tel Mora* which would be redundant if Tel meant Tower Anyway IMO Silgrad is the official name, perhaps Tower could be translated for fun and put in the book of some scholar for fun, but that's about it Kogo Tel really sound fishy, more like Kogo-Kago-Tel-ishrintipi ... mmmm ... nice name after the Daedra destroy it and build a shrine  Kogo is more Daedric sounding than Morrowindish :lmao: |

Astarsis: I don't know how official it is, but Majra's Translator is the best resource I know of for learning more about the Dunmer language.
Tel means tower. Really though, Bethesda just made all of this stuff up, so there's only so much depth to it
¤ How to add images or files to your post ¤ Silgrad's UBBCode
My pet peeve: huge images in img code. I reserve the right to make any such image into a clickeable thumbnail whenever I see it. Angel mired in filth |
