Well, either way, I like coming up with my own names, because they sound better than anything a name generator ever produced. :]

Axen: My skope was Silgrad Tower. I left the offer open to recieve additional lists for other races/cultures, and noted how the information needed to be formatted in this thread:
NPC name generator Harikari: Mostly because it was easier to find the time to do things like that when Oblivion wasn't available but partly because Bethesda put more thought into the names in TES3 than they did in Oblivion. I find that the old names are more distinguishable as race-specific.

My pet peeve: huge images in img code. I reserve the right to make any such image into a clickeable thumbnail whenever I see it. Angel mired in filth |

What do you want realism or aesthetics? If the latter then just pick something that sounds right. Bethesda didnt use any philological logic when creating names they just used whatever sounded nice. All you are looking for is something aesthetic. Dont waste time on a name generator as they dont add any sense to the equation they just throw out more claptrap. Get some paper and a pen, write down some names of professions, then work out a prefix or suffix for son of, daughter of, then work out a few basic language rules. Then cobble them together. The names for the most will not sound so nice but at least they will have a modicum of reason, and reason is realism. Look at most races of Man, names originate from all kinds of logic roots. Spend 10 minutes on a name, or 10 seconds. The former might not sound good but will add depth and realism, the latter will sound really nice but be just a mishmash of words for the sake of hearing them.
