Imperial Coast-guard?
that is infact the more exciting side of Census & Excise. There are the clerks... and then there are the patrols... now the C&E Cutters patrol the Bitter Coast (backed up by mercenaries and Legionaires) to hunt down smugglers Census and Excise exert control over tariffs, census, and tries to control illegal trade |

Would be wonderful to see ships sailing around in the sea... But as I have said numerous times... Let's hope Oblivion supports these kind of things

I was planning more for stationary ships.... knowing the complications that mobile ones could cause....
although I am not ruling out the possibility of canoes, coracles, and rafts! |

Silgrad started off their mod by having pirates raid a Bitter Coast town, and you can (through a small quest) eventually get a ride with them onto Silgrad lands...

You gotta like pirates(damn ninjas) but anyway
We wouldn't even have to make the ships mobile, we'd just make them stay out in the middle of the ocean. It would certainly be easier to handle and find |

hate to bring it up, but in the recent interview, pete said boats are static, oh and the only ones with a REAL navy are the imperials, the dres and maybe the Hlaalu. The rest could not in any way shape or form be called a "navy", they may have some boats, but thats not the same thing as a navy.
