Oblivion's system requirements

It looks like you just named the series. There are a lot of MSI Geforces, at least when I looked it up on google... Link Which one do you have? Some of them will run it just fine, others won't.

Oh, a teacher suggested it to me... what do you think would be a good one of that series that is compatible with Oblivion? Keep it under $300 and make sure its one that can connect with another please.

Ooh. The first part of my far-fetched plan has fallen into place. A dual-boot of XP on an Intel Mac has been achieved and officially documented with instructions. Apparently the only remaining techincal problem for high-end gaming is jury-rigging the graphic card drivers. Of course there's also the price tag of $2500 for the laptop that would have a high enough processor speed to let me play Oblivion.... Still, it's a big step.

Okay.. my comp has a 2.7g mb, 512 ram, 9250 Radeon vidcard with 256 megs of ram. It meets the basic requirements .. barely.. except for the vid card and it would not run the game or the cs at all. I'm upgrading the video driver and I'll try again. (crossing fingers) Danath is up and running albeit slowly.

Good thing we preordered though. We only got the standard game, none of the ce sets made it out here to the sticks.. and they just barely got enough in this first shipment to meet the preorders. hehehe.. So it looks like we'll buy the book and thank the gods we got this copy or we'd be waiting at least another week or two. :banana:

Btw.. I'm awestruck with what I've seen on Danath's comp so far. Even tuned down so much it's incredible.
