special circumstances....
maybe you want to join, and the local commanders won't let you (if you aren't Dunmer)..... so if you are non-Dunmer, you can go to Berel Sala... he won't be in his office.... but if you ask his assistant she will say he is gone to where-ever and you find this where-ever is a SixthHouse base... you break in, and find that Berel Sala is surrounded by dead Ordinators and is taking on what is left of the 6th House cave by himself... which he can do but you are "supposed" to help him.... after helping him, he will ask you how you know of the place, etc. you will tell him you want to be an Ordinator... and he will let you in.... that would be my idea.... that is, assuming Ordinators are joinable... |

..thing is.. you will never be a true Ordinator and the other Ordinators will probably going to hate you. But that may be interesting as well...

so far the attitude is either:
drop Buoyant Armiger drop both it is disappointing, but dropping factions to unjoinable status is probably for the best... still... the poll sample-size is about... 5 people... very small... we'll see... |

Since only members of House Indoril can serve as Ordinators I voted to strike them.

well, they said members of ANY HOUSE... not necessarily anyone...
Quote:from the Elder Scrolls Codex - armor so technically, the armor is not supposed to be called Indoril, but Ordinator... maybe the DEVs screwed it up, realized after release, and decided to say that to fix their mistake! ![]() |

In a perfect world we could have both but due to harsh realities, as outlined by Lady Nerevar (and her boobs), it may be more effective to drop both of them to improve the quality in more important areas.
My vote was for the Ordinators due to personal preference, but I would want either both or neither. If you did decide to include Ordinators, I would suggest membership be limited to only Dunmer (this would be a nice alternative to the 6th house or Ashlanders?) KuKulzA: I think that your plot idea to allow "N'wah" to join the Ordinators is sound (even though I disagree with the reason.) Might I suggest that the other Ordinators may not know you are an outlander?: 1) Given the nature of the Ordinator uniform, it may be required for you to wear the uniform whenever speaking to any Ordinator or performing Ordinator duties; in theory, this would allow for Berel Sala to secretly allow an outlander into the ranks. Execution of this would be similar to requiring legionnaire equiptment when talking to officers or the House Hlallu quest wear you had to disguise yourself as a dead Redoran (in Morrowind). Punishment for revealing yourself as a non-Dunmer would be a severe beat down by your fellow Ordinators (and depending on your standing in the faction, either ostracism or execution.) 2) Berel Sala employs you in much the same capacity as he did in Morrowind, you are not officially employed as an Ordinator but take part in quests that are only slightly different from those you would recieve as a de facto Ordinator. Think of it as being a "foreign observer" with the added incentive of some armor and an official commision down the road. Whatever is the final decision, remember: "We're watching you...scum!"
"Show me a hero and I will write you a tragedy."
