Nah, I've got the player's guide, and that one is for TES3, I'm going to make one for Oblivion that we can use. I think the "Poison" effect can become Damage Health...

If it had just been a matter of setting up the effects I probably wouldn't have asked, but the way their strength is calcluated and the way they affect gameplay is different. That's where the work lies, balancing their effects.

hmm, someone did once make a levitation spell. Look for it in TESSource or Planet Elder Scrolls.
As for burden, I have never come across it, and the only thingat comes close to burden for me was the Ring of Burden from the Mages Guild, and that was just an overly heavy ring. Confusing to me, but I guess someone could make a magic script for it.....although there was something that had a weight icon in the magic list. Possibly that?

I've never tried the levitation but was it that bad? What if we made a way that you could make new spell effects that aren't scripts? Oh, I got one! Make a mod that edits the spell effects and their names, and combine it with another mod that has the same spells? then you would have more editable spell effects. Is that a good idea?
EDIT: OK, here is the full process: Take an unused spell like darkness, lock, or Mehrunes Dagon Custom Effect, and change the ID of the spell. Then, have fun editing the effects, like to make you fly, or divine and almsivi intervention or even the forgotten poison spell. Then, you make a new mod, and make the spells a part of the mod (I forgot what the word was) You just change the ID and change it back. Then, combine the mods. the new spell effects will be put into the mod, and they are different than the old spell effects, so all of them will be included. That is my process on making new spells.

Aren't comberry edible? And Oblivion doesn't use drain effects, they are replaced by damage effects.
