Looks cool to me. But yeah, hand-placement can't be avoided, really. Oh, make sure those bromeliads in the pics are not submerged under water, cause bromeliads can drown in such conditions (realistically speaking). Also, the vanilla plants are required to be placed either against a wall, trellis, or tree or high rock. They are like ivy and need a stable surface to grow against and climb up. The version of the vanilla plant that spirals around can be placed so that it looks like it wraps around a speedtree or pole. Just FYI, in case you didn't know.

Yeah, don't let those little turds get you down. Dingleberries stick for a while, but eventually they fall off.

Just to let you know, I wrote a short book for the game about the life of the man the Rottmere Everglades were named after (I was thinking that it was named after an Imperial explorer and colonist). It's in the books section.

Regarding the bromeliads, might we exercise a little artistic license there? I've been in interested in trying out the zebra bromeliads in the water for a while. I had considered coral but decided that would be more of a coastal variety.
Got your book, Deeza! See my comments.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artistic_license .....I tend to wholeheartedly favour the bending of rules if it means achieving the desired effects. The execution of such a thing needs to be quite deftly handled though.
