The Sarpa live in the Vudai Marsh anyway.

Interior done
As you can see, it has one room. There's massive branches at the top. I've planned there will be hanging containers, bed, lights etc. Lot of stuff will hanging on these branches. What do you think? (btw, it looks really cool in-game) |

Quote:Originally posted by Vintra I'm basically referring to the fact that the Sarpa homes are intended for use in the jungle, not the Vudai Marsh. However, I guess some mossy trees might appear in the jungle and perhaps some Sarpa homes might appear in the Vudai Marsh...so it's flexible. I'm just thinking aloud about where to place things. Nice work, Vintra! Is it about the right size in-game? Some modellers create stuff that's too big or too small. Appropriate dimensions for this would be about the size of a shaman hut...although if different models are made then you might have different proportions depending on the function of the building of course. I had considered having the Aezarka native tileset as an accompanying resource so that some Argonians can live side-by-side with them: http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t236/...hot087.jpg . @ the team - Do we agree with this or should we just stick with what Vintra is developing? Great news that you're creating hanging items! :goodjob: We need stuff like that. If you can string some herbs and anything appropriate you find in our own ingredients and clutter collection that would fit in homes then that would be excellent. I'd like to have some small versions for use within the small dimension of the mudhuts too!

I think the Aezarka stuff is a great idea because it would allow more variety in the Sarpa villages, and also give us a new architecture set for the northern regions of Argonia.
As for the trees, my basic point was that you couldn't hang these things off speedtrees, as there would be massive clipping issues. If necessary, I guess we could ask Koniption if she could make a different static tree for the jungle regions?

Thanks Ibsen!
Yes, i can optimize size of my models to the right size. So it doesn't matter. I'll try to improve my best skills to make sarpa clutters, more to come in the coming days. |

@ Ibsen: I think we can use both the Aezarka stuff and Vintra's stuff. They are similar in color, so we might even can get away with using them side-by-side in same settlements, if needed. Of course, if you use the different sets in different villages, then there wouldn't be any problem to begin with.
@ Deeza: My Huge Mossy Tree, if scaled to appropriate size, can have Vintra's Sarpa homes hanging from them. If his homes hang too much, I can always shorten the "thread/woven filament" that the homes hang from - it'd be easy enough to do on my end. I plan on making more trees, but they will be different shapes and sizes from the huge mossy tree, and most likely not as big. Koniption
Yeah, don't let those little turds get you down. Dingleberries stick for a while, but eventually they fall off.

I think they'd look great hanging from your trees. We'll see what works when we get all the models in.

Sounds great. There's nothing like a new architecture set in the morning to make my day...
