It's a long thread and there are Cerro sub-clans is brewing (one bunch in a sewer) but no one has actually formally applied to head them as yet, so not only is th eTES4 open, but in any case you have a free hand in TES3 (though some potent individuals are interested )

Additonally: Now that we understand the background of the Cerro Vampires, it wouldn't be a bad Idea to say they funded this university, giving the fact that thier younger members maintain the "disguise" of normal appearance, it is very likely that their are many House Redoran Members who are actually Cerro (at least in this region of Morrowind) and maybe even a few who have reached the upper echelons of the House

That funding idea sounds like fun - but they might have do that through an intermediary as they are not an Indoril-based organisation = room for even more fun if the intermediaries have enemies (hmm, hrug: how could they not? This is Morrowind), and natch there must be those who would oppose the foundation of a University on other grounds.

Hows about one of the Cerro owns the land meets up with the Indoril who are seeking to set up their campus? That way the University can have very strange landlords and leaves the way open for more fun re other funding organisations, with the landlords in an unshiftable position happily stirring things as they will :]

By the way I suspect that there would be:

- worshipers of various Deities and Daedra involved???
- of interest to All Great Houses whose rulers would wnat their children to have the best education regardless of affiliation - look at any Uni in the world, and you may find the children of that nation's greatest enemy's leader studying peacefully there...
- a source of recruitment for organisations and projects of all kinds...
- Commissions for Research Projects being offered, considered and undertaken...

The Mages Guild and the Telvanni might have ideas about the Faculty of Magic
The College of Chivalry might find different areas of possible dispute... ideas?

I like the idea of the "few" that reached the upper echelons of the House.

and the many Members who are Cerro are 'going missing' with greater and greater frequency as 'the rage' takes them... building up...

Natch this provides a serious basis for the Cerro to assist in the formation of the University that has a powerful Alchemical Faculty -

... the beauty being that because the Cerro are never discovered by the authorities or the other Vampire Clans this means there will always be moves going on that the major players in Morrowind and ST cannot account for - keep them on their toes the conniving so-and-sos... :]

Ummm, Saaandooor, do you think maybe a gent by the name of Vaniken Ri might take an interest in stocking the University Cellars?

I know - that was one of the locations I visited in ST before my comp got flooded.

For the other Vampire Clans - once a secret is shared it is no longer secret. Part of the motivation of the Cerro stemmed from their disgust with the fact that they were deliberately infected in the first place by the original Ancient, and so they fought him or her, and they see Vampirism as an Imperial disease, so they would be very happy to liquidate the other Vampire Clans (and possibly the Dres Leaders if they could get away with it) but one must assume they are realists (except when affected by the rage.)

Vaniken Ri is a wine merchant in RPK I seem to remember, and Razorwing decided (my thought too independantly interestingly enough) that he is of Akaviri ancestry - it has been suggested that he might be an Akaviri Agent in Tamriel, but I do not know what happened with that. Can't remember who was doing that but I thought it might have been one of Sandor's early contributions... will see if I can find the thread... yup, hidden in Editor's Corner - it was sunoshi who handled it and I think he had help at the time poss from sandor ot X23 - 2 RPK claims - one for his home, and the other for his store Vaniken Ri's Provisions - which interestingly enough is still available...
