Quote:Originally posted by Legartius I could add that the max # of textures is a hardcoded restriction presumably implemented by Bethesda to avoid spots where the player's video memory would otherwise be affected by too many landscape textures. In other words it's a failsafe to avoid landscape textures affecting the FPS.

So far I've made the landscape a little more hilly (just gentle slopes) re-grown two cells with plants and so on, and I am still working on a nice way of making an entrance for a moldcave... It'll get there eventually!
Is there a time when I should post updates, or should I wait until it is done? (Probably only a week left on it, though) |

Quote:Originally posted by Legartius Looking forward to checking it out! It's a good idea to post an esp every two weeks, or once a week if you're working intensively, partly so we can check it out and give feedback but primarily so it can be checked for technical problems. Sometimes bugs creep in without one realizing it and without causing any apparant problems but still may make it more difficult or even impossible to merge the plugin. When one has a choice it's always better to spread out work over several plugins, since if a technical bug has crept in it's easier to localize. I don't mean to worry you unnecessarily though, those kinds of bugs rarely happen, but when they do it's good to catch them early.

I'm going to have to delay my 'release' for a bit: I've been meaning to install my new RAID array for a while, but during the process something went awry on my old hard drives: quite a bit of data went walkies ?( Including my little mod: Never fear though, I'm re-downloading and reinstalling everything, and it should be done again soon enough: Sorry to keep you waiting Razor!
