Quote:Originally posted by blackbirdPlease post a screenshot. TIA. blue
I am finishing the Steadhelm area using the new closed rocks and long trunked trees made by Razorwing. Further I finally fixed the VWD problem of the city, thanks to Bomret and Iggey. I attached a screenshot of Steadhelm by night. To finish the VWD for Steadhelm I need _far nifs for the three ships, the statue on the main square and the bridge (made by Razorwing) near the main gate. After that I'll merge two HM quads (55 Mb) of generated land around SC which wil be updated with the new closed rocks and long trunked trees made by Razorwing as well. blue
I noticed (testing the VWD for Steadhelm) some rocks floating in the sky (Latrys) because of the fact that the other rocks (below the visible ones) aren't VWD (screenshot). EDIT Updating the LOD mesh will help as well.

Has anyone else noticed there are now nine music types for cells? The normal types appear in triplicates.

I see only one of each. hrug:
What you described happens to me when I switch the music multiple times for a single cell. Closing and reopening the cell window should clear the extra music types. |

I was playtesting around Ebbedin recently - taking shots of the retextured shelf fungus - and I noticed a bug. There's a cave entrance outside of town with an open crate model just outside it. The land texture beneath the open crate is the kind that spawn grass, so when I was there in-game the crate had grass coming out through all sides of it.
All in all though the village is magnificent :goodjob: On a personal note I'm still 'plagued' with corrupted textures. As you could see in the background of one screenshot in the shelf fungus thread, the landscape lod texture looks chaotic with weird colors all over it and the shacks still have that corrupted look. Haven't been able to track down what could be causing it yet. It only occurs in-game, not in the CS or in Nifskope. Very strange. ?(

Quote:Originally posted by RazorwingI have seen this before. Perhaps this helps. After patching the Oblivion esm to the version 1.20.416, I restored the original data folder (1.10.511) because of the ST assets. In-game the textures were corrupted (screenshot). The reason: I copied the shaders from my previous version (1.10.511) into the data folder. After a reinstall and making sure that I kept a copy of the "new" shaders, the problem vanished. I could upload the shaders folder (depending on your version) to the ST net so you don't have to reinstall the game.

Good to know the problem was... well, not in my mind, but at least caused by something unrelated to the nifs and textures themselves.
Thanks sandor, I would appreciate a copy of those shaders.
