Silgrad is seperate from the BC projects and doesn't fall under it's regulations. While Silgrad sticks to lore for the most part, it doesn't always have the most rigid stance on lore.

While I'd like to say the BC projects have a high standard of lore, they often don't, and in the past 'stuff' has been hosted that has no basis in lore what-so-ever (Aldmeris, Senaria, and so on).
The current projects do mostly have a higher standard of lore, with Akavir currently going through a lore-revamp/review, with Deeza, Ja-Kha'jay and myself being very firm advocates of lore taking a priority in the projects. However, in saying this, there is no actual rule regarding a BC's project adhesion to lore, but given the nature of the BC community, it's highly unlikely that a non-lore based project would be allowed in (again, anyway).

But all the current projects really should stick to lore the best they can anyway, given they are making provinces of Tamriel, and not meta-fictional places that don't exist in The Elder Scrolls universe.

I guess the rules would be something like
don't use or invent anything that conflicts with lore
don't use or invent anything so big that the lore really would have mentioned it

Thanks for bringing that up. The policy strikes most of the right notes, but could have done with being a little more detailed.

Thanks for the interesting info, however we're not going to start a discussion about adjusting Silgrad Tower's Lore or BC Lore policies in general. As jucklesjenk said it's defined in the team guide lines.

Silgrad Tower is the main project and the BC teams may use our server to develop their projects (service/courtesy). ST doesn't interfere with day to day affairs (like Lore) unless members start to behave rude etc.

As per the team guidelines it's not allowed to promote BC mods on our ST boards. (§14).
