Bendu Olo is also the name that Bethseda always uses for test runs of their Elder Scrolls games.
It's probably an early shot from before much of the stuff in the final game was added. The more advanced textures and animations probably put too much of a heavy load on the test computers, so they took it out (kinda like some of the effects in Oblivion). |

hmm, I guess that would work. And Bendu DEFEATED the sloads? I thought he only sailed to their homeland, and you would think the sloads would win with their ability to raise the dead for an unkillable army.
Lol what?

the timeline:
1E 2200 The Thrassian Plague destroys over half of the population of Tamriel. The plague is released by a tribe of beastmen called Sload from the coral kingdom of Thras. Nobility from Daggerfall, Sentinel, and Wayrest escape to the Isle of Balfiera. Source: Pocket Guide to The Empire (1st Edition): The Wild Regions. Bendu Olo, the Colovian king of Anvil, sets off to Thras with his powerful Navy, destroying the Sload (though not completely). Warlock Syrabane plays a major role in the battle. Through judicious use of his magical ring, Syrabane saves many from the scourge of the Thrassian Plague. Following this event, the control of Cyrodiil slowly changes to the west from the eastern Alessian rule, resulting in the War of Righteousness that later ended Alessian rule. hmm, ok, that sounds right. I guess sload aren't exactly "combat ready" no matter how good they are at necromancy.
Lol what?

it takes alot of time and resources to resurect the dead. im thinking that they were simply not prepared for bendu's attack. sload are easier to kill then tomatoes when they have no minions (fat slugs who cna bearly move on land)

I guess you're right. If only sloads used their evil, dark powers for good.
Lol what?
