What do you want to mod first?

The size of the estates depend on a lot of things, many of which we don't know yet. A farm with decent-sized plantations, a couple of houses and an animal pen as well as some filler space at the edges would easily fill out a Morrowind-sized exterior cell. It could be compressed quite a bit but I think that would detract from the impression of it. For all we know Oblivion might not divy up exterior cells the way Morrowind did. So, my figure of 1 exterior cell was just to give some reference to scale. A bit of extra growing room for one's estate might be nice too, as well as having some distance to the neighbor's estate or whichever might be bordering that cell.
In a perfect world (for me) we'd rebuild Silgrad with wonderfully detailed house models, built in Hlaalu style but jazzed up to take advantage of the new graphic capabilities. I think that idea is a bit utopian though. I would certainly not be able to pull it off. If you could, then I'd be your biggest fan But if the choice was between Morrowind-ported Hlaalu houses and basic imperial houses from Oblivion, I'd go with the ported ones (but that's my opinion)... again, it might just as well be impossible to port 3D models from Morrowind to the format Oblivion will use. Although I have great faith in that Nif-to-3dsm converter I've heard about, and if it fails I'm sure the community will find a way to convert the old models.

My pet peeve: huge images in img code. I reserve the right to make any such image into a clickeable thumbnail whenever I see it. Angel mired in filth |

... and me doesn't think, that it would be a problem to create a new set of textures once the models have been converted and thus making them fit for the new version, quality-wise.
Greetings Quentin
That's what a ship is, you know. It's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs, but what a ship is - what the Black Pearl really is - is freedom.

That's easy.
I'm going to recreate the War of the Lance and take part in it. (For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, start reading the Dragonlance series, by about 50 authors, most notable - Don Perrin, Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman.

Well for me I know for sure what it is I want to do ... an updated version of Aedryn hunted mine.. I have seen cavern and castle textures in the trailer that are perfect to use for it... But I am allso a realist in the sence that we first need to check what is possible.. like RW said in prev posts.. everything will most likely be different. From scripting to land building.. and untill we know everything (from official sources) all we can do is plan and dream..

Probably what I do now, make new faces and clothing... I guess it depends on my impression of the game though.
