yes... but then again... do you think the only armor the Dwemer had was their centurion armor, their own heavy armor, and robes?
no, methinks they DID have light armor... the guards of the cities had halberds... and they wore robes... but I am thinking that underneath the robes they had a flexible layer of metal mesh.... like the screen for keeping out mosquitos, except much much stronger, more intricately woven, and more flexible.... great against arrows and slashing/stabbing weapons... not vs. big heavy blunt ones... but the Chimer didn't have too many of those |

that sounds pretty sick (oh wait, shouldn't use california slang...) uh... i am quite certain the end result of your endeavor will be eminetly pleasing
PS: if you need a good texture, google image "braided steel"

cool, when you suggested mesh i thought, wow, i wish i had thought of that
It makes perfect sense, its flexible but strong and keeps a shape. what were you thinking of making the pauldrons like?

no pauldron actually.... not really
just like the body, a short-sleeve, and extends down to the knee... you'll need to wear bracers and boots... and over them your nice Dwemer robe.... I know Dwemer are anti-lore to put it... but their artifacts and objects aren't... plus, Dunmer look good in dwemer stuff too... they really do |

Looks good, but has some reflection.

welll let us decide what it is made up...
steel? bronze? ...I think they'd be skilled enough to braid either one... I think steel is better but bronze goes more with the musty brown-gold of the Dwemer... |
