Nah, don't worry. It's my fault for recommending it, so if there's any problems because of it, I promise to fix those plugins so they behave as the creator (you, in the case of your plugin) intended. I hope it's not something will affect modders on our team adversely, but in the future I don't suppose we'll use .esm's for that purpose.

Please don't 'bother' download 04.2 as serious problems have been discovered in it, especially if a modder makes their plugin dependant on it. That part works fine, but merging a plugin like that is another matter. Actually you don't need any version of Reich Parkeep to mod an interior like this for it.

kk, any idea when a workable version will be up?

? The lighting is almost pitch black. (20 20 20) To take the Bethesda interior "LeyawinJBarisHouse" as an example they use dark grey as ambience light (40 50 60) but they've also dotted light bulbs near the windows ('InteriorLeyawiinR...') which means many parts of the interior won't be as dark as the ambience is.

i dint know about the window thing... but i could have sworn i used the right ambience. oh well, will change.

? The logfire you use doesn't emanate light or generate sound. Try adding a 'Light > firePlace256' and a 'Miscellaneous > Sound > AMBFireSmallLP', or something like those, to your static.

? Your characters should have some dialogue lines special to them. One way that always works is to add a topic with their own name, and have them say something about themselves. You'll want to add a greeting for them as well, that can add their topic to the dialogue choices. But any way you want to do it that results in special dialogue works.

what should they say? should the voices be acted? realy confused about it...

? You should probably put a locked door in the doorjamb to the tower/storage room.

i looked in the other house that used that model, and it didnt have a door, so i didnt add one. will do as you say however.

An interior in either of the Imperial Districts in Reich Parkeep would use either "CheydinhalDoorInt01" or "CheydinhalDoorInt02". Don't flog me for mentioning it but a humble tip is that you can right-click the interior static you use for your interior, choose 'use info', then double-click on any of the locations listed. That will most likely take you to a place Bethesda modded with that interior and you can check out for instance what door they used.

Alpha 4 works well enough I think (link). I don't think I'll release a newer version until I've modded the Redoran exteriors. In a week or so, maybe. Hopefully more interiors have been finalized by then *glares psychotically at everyone*

Yeah, it's confusing alright. Furniture is listed under at least three categories for instance.

No no, you don't *have* to voice act them, although I'm tempted to have said you had to just to hear what the male character had sounded like. Just please create written dialogue for them so they have something unique to say (i.e. subtitled) to the player.

If you want you can instead provide two written lines per character in a post or a PM or such; one being a greeting, the other what they think about the town they live in. I've got a collection of "Greeting" and "Reich Parkeep" dialogue entries going and adding new ones with those templates isn't much work for me.

yeh, i knows. i have no idea why i didnt do it in this case (maybe i was asuming that you had another door, or maybe i forgot about it all together...)

I found some minor things.

Ground floor.


The MiddleTapestry18 is bleeding (screenshot).

The barrel is floating (screenshot).

The MCChair03R, two legs are floating (screenshot).

The MiddleBookshelf04. Please decorate this one.

On the table, the bread and carrots are floating a litle bit (press "F" once).


First floor.

The MiddleShelf02 is floating.

The Tapestry (CheydinhalHouseMiddle05Interior) is bleeding (screenshot).
The MiddleTapestry07 has the same problem.

The MCBench01Fall is bleeding into the rug.

Two legs of the bed are floating because of the rug.
The same applies for the DrawerClutterMiddle01 (screenshot).

For the AI packages. Name these accordingly the modders abbrev. For example StLnxxxxx.

Put a loaf of bread into the inventory of Molvar.

I didn't check the AI. I'll do that in the pre-final version while play testing.

What should I do about the partial float/bleed due to rug? Should I move it of the rug? I was not at all shure about the AI packages... (new to me), so that's nice to know.

Anyhow, I have fixed all the errors razor reported, and started on sandor's. I'm still pretty clueless about what they should say though... (my only idea is about the town being taken over by the dunmer)

About the rugs.

Move it a bit and drop the bed/drawers on the floor by pressing "F".

You can also resize the rug by holding "S" and make it smaller.

I fully understand that inspiration on that subject could be hard to come by.

But perhaps we can start in another direction. How would you define the characters you've created? What jobs would you like them to have, and what do they like to do in their spare time? What social standing do they have - commoner, middle class, wealthy, noble? (Probably not far from middle class, going by the house type.) It might sound strange to define a character that way, but if you do, then it might be easier for you to "roleplay" them - putting yourself in their shoes, and seeing the world through their eyes - and then, their opinion of 'Reich Parkeep' might come to you.

To take a wild example, let's say there's a man and a woman living in a house. I could decide to make the man a writer, and the woman an herbalist. Middle-class. The man likes to hang out at the Golden Gryffin in his spare evenings, while the woman enjoys painting.

So now, there's four venues for discussion; writing, flora, Golden Gryffin, and painting. When asked about Reich Parkeep, the man might say: "Have you been to the Golden Gryffin lately? It's the only place to get decent Cyrodiilic brandy arond here." The woman might say, "The bridge of two keeps is one of the most striking features of our city. I've been meaning to paint it, but the light just hasn't been right yet. Perhaps I'll do it next winter, since the cool crisp air really brings out the colors in the masonry." Well, those were just theoretical examples, but still. What do you think?
