You would be excluded from any Imperial factions but could join the Telvanni or Commona Tong. Native Dunmer would be much more friendly, non-Dunmer less friendly. I think the idea that "the player has to be an outsider" is just a holdover from the old game. New game, new thinking, I say. Most people play Morrowind with a number of different charactors, so having some charactor choices limit in-game choices is okay. Just as choosing different Houses excluded other options in the original game, choosing to be from Morrowind excludes some options here. If I want to see what it is like to be an outsider, then I choose that route and accept its limitations. |

I would like that, but no matter what you come from Cyrodiil anyways. Wait, what if you were a native Dunmer arrested and thrown into the Imperial Prison, and you still have the same voice and appearence as a native Dunmer, and everyone in Morrowind knows you've lived there and they just don't know you were taken to Cyrodiil. PERFECT!
Lol what?

hmm... then maybe traditional tatoos (a big part of traditional and especially ashlander culture) can be in... and they can all loo more guant... and have cooler mohawks.... and have ear rings and nose rings and filed teeth and lip gloss and dyed hair and bikinis and... yeah I think we'll stick with traditional... the idea is a good one  |

Native Dunmer should definately be made, with the rough, choked original dunmer voice, tone of skin more similar to the ones from Morrowind, and the earrings. Necessary for Morrowind's atmosphere, IMO. And while it would be cool to include them as a playable race, the factions you can join shouldn't depend on the fact that you are or are not a native dunmer. After being jailed by the Imperials, and helping them out with all the quests and whatnot in Cyrodiil(and not returning as soon as you were released from prison), you would become sort of an traitor anyway, making you about the equal of an outlander.

well... few Camonna Tong would welcome you...
except that rare case with the Argonian Tuls who was working for the Camonna Tong... ?( weird that an Argonian would work with Dunmer, weirder that the Camonna would be willing to use an Argonian.... but also very clever on both parts.. Tuls was being clever in that he knew what it would take to assassinate a Twin lamps guy and the Camonna Tong knew that using an argonian would help the assassin get close... |

Maybe you do something to prove yourself to the CT, something they wouldn't expect an outlander to do?
