About the Carnival, while trying out Trolf's Actors In Madness, I found Sheogorath's animation #1 cane 2 very amusing.
It's the one where he lifts his stick up and balances it on his hand. When I tried with while wielding a claymore or longsword, it had almost the same effect, only about a meter higher Wink
Could be some entertainer.
I provided a picture.
The sword must be edited in NifSkope, perhaps only turning 180° will be sufficient, although it could and up being the wrong way around Big Grin
You could also replace the sword with a random magic effect, give him a wizard hat: Fred and George Big Grin
Hey guys, I don't think I'm gonna be able to record the videos unfortunately. The game is taking too much of a toll on my graphic card. If I had a better one I would be able to help with this, but considering the performance I'm seeing its just not going to work.
Ach, that's bad news! Maybe I'll just go my own way then...let me know if you figure something out though.

@ Face - We do need to take another look at animations. I'm afraid I'm not very good at them and I need to get them sorted a bit better for the beta. I'll bear that in mind but the animations that I particularly liked not so long ago were the prison anims for use in any areas where slavery still takes place....still need to check those out properly.
Yes, I do not understand them as well. In the CS I can work with them, just the creation of it is abnormally weird.
Hopefully when I get a new graphic card I'll be able to record some stuff for ya, providing the trailer isn't complete by that time. But seeing as I'm only getting between 10 and 20 frames per second, leaning towards the former, I don't think it would be wise for me to continue struggling along with this ambition of mine.
Sure RCN, no problem. The mod is the main thing anyway.
Wow. A trailer of BM! That would be really nice. Tell me that it will be voiced over by a good male talent... Could be some impressive trailer. If I didn't know your project, I would surely be interested to watch such a trailer. At what stage of production is it?
Well, it's not taking place at the moment since RCN discovered that his PC was having difficulties...so the idea is pretty much shelved for the moment. Nevertheless, I think I'll just put out a more rudimentary promo vid. We need a little publicity even if it's not of the sort of cinematic quality we were hoping for. I'll probably do the voice work myself, if needs be. After all, that's how I first became known in the OB community.
You are the best voice actor I have ever known^^

As for the recording I can take that, my pc is rather strong and I also have ENBSeries and other tweaks. Just tell me what footage is needed..
I've kind of put the trailer on a 'low priority' status at the moment, particularly as, with our current resources, it's not going to look too great. This post: The Trailer begins a discussion on why that is. I would personally just go ahead and stick to 800v600 footage as described since I already have plenty. The quality won't be great but at least it will be out there. I think the vast majority would understand that it's just the resolution and not the quality of the game as a whole. That could even be mentioned in the description of the trailer.

This post: The Trailer covers a few more suggestions to add to those in the link further down in the post. I already have 2, 3, 5, 7 and little bits of 9 and 11. I'm saving mine as .avi files and one 4 second clip is 65 Mb so it will take a bit of uploading to share the files but as long as you have a decent BB connection we can share the files. As I said to RCN, you should be able to set up some events in the CS so that you maximise what's on offer onscreen during the period you take footage using something like FRAPS. For example, I placed a few creatures with the intention of 'filming'.

We should be able to get decent footage of the new regions now that we have the LOD files as well so make sure you have the latest LOD files before you start filming those parts.
