Most coral is solid anyway. I should know as I spent the last 3 months
at the Red Sea. The two plants like corals could be animated but its
probably more effort than its worth (it can be always done late).
Our own site would be cool but still linked to this forum. The islands
website is amazing. Just a site with the Vid and pictures with info.
Just need to find someone who would do this?
I know what you mean but most ppl come then leave fairly rapidly
I came here due to the Skyrim video then saw the Valenwood
forum(listened to the music - due to u I believe) and stuck. Wonder why
other dont?
Well I try and put a link where ever I could. I tell you what a address forward could must improve this site. Like www.TES4Valenwood.(free domain) which just forwards to this forum. That way its easy to remember and to return.

Just a small update:
Added all the new things (minus the ones on my laptop) to the Cs and some of them ingame.
This includes:
- The glowing lichen
- The Cooker Model
- The 4 bone items
- Another plant
- The 4 Pots

Barbie huh? Just found out that the Cs wont work on my laptop. Well I
can't seem to get it too. It keeps crashing on startup? Seems it
doesn't work on onboard graphics chips. Which really sucks as i'm gonna
have no modding time hardly at all in the next 6 months!!! Maybe 3
weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!
Off to South America tommorow cant wait its gonna be so good. I'll keep posting on here and I still have blender and CS2.

If I were you I would be taking pictures of those palm leaves and of anything there for textures.

The crab will walk the same as the vanilla one? Its not furry its your
computer + I used windows snipit which gave a pretty poor image anyway.
You would have to used the particle generator to make fur but I dout
its possible and it will create a stupid amount of lag.
If I could model like that i'm sure I would be working for crysis or something like that!!
yer I should be taking images I've been planning to for a while but
never had the time for close up images. Its been windy for the last 10
days here and today looks like its gonna be very windy. |

There were in egypt thats why I models them there. You had to windsurf
over them at some points. There are some here but you have to travel to
find them. |

Huh, need a new modelling idea for the islands. I now have more spare time. On the lash tonight
so I will have to be tommorow but I need an idea so I can think about it and look for textures.

Juat to say I have collsioned and exported all my models including the
Coral and have them in the correct folder layout to add to the Cs.
Remeber I cant model anything that complicated!
I'm so tired it stupid last night was heavy. Then today we had a four
hour windsurf, in which I manged to stand on one of those spiky urchin
I made, so I had to stop freestyling. They hurt quite a bit and I only
got 4 spines!!! |

I would rather like to make the islands a bit more green pact friendly
nd wa after some ideas/concepts on a new house type. It would obviously
have to be the same basic look and dimesions so that existing interiors
etc would still work. Also I would like to replace maybe a few of the
other Ndib things as they all use wood and are a bit Morrowind quality.

Impresive collection. Will be very useful. At the moment i'm after an
idea of some models I can make in replacement to the non greenpact
buildings which are used at the present. Look at the screens in this
thread to see the ones I using at the moment. The Ndib models if you
remeber them. |

We do, and badly!
Head over to the interior claims section and pick up an island claim,
we are without a reviewer at the moment though - if your handy in that
area too and fancy reviewing a few completed claims it would be lush.
Also, on the main board you will have to pick up a modding ID
consisting of two letters (SG for eg) and have it approved. If nobody
gets back to you dont let that stop you I shouldn't worry too much
about conflicting ID's, there aren't that many modders about!

Ok I will leave them. As you know I dont have the Cs so I cant add NPC etc. Thats the problem.
Siegfried - of course we do have a look at the island interior thread and see what takes your fancy

Well that a fair amount I'll think about what to make. What do you
think about palm thatching instead of the tiles on the buildings. a lot
of the buildings on the beach here have it and it looks good. Took
loads of pics ready to make the texture. |

Thanks. Well its based on a real NZ spider. The textures were initially from a photo of it.

Nice spider! We could have some unique spider caves with a few variable
models. A retex of the hay bundles you see in kennels and some animal
caves in oblivion so that it looks like webbing would be cool.
Whack plenty of cobwebs and bones in there could create quite a spooky atmos, damn I miss my CS!

Sounds awesome, I was thinking more along the lines of new models to
put in the current cave tileset but a whole new spidey caveset sounds
brill!
I wonder if those havoked roots could be made webby? Imagine trawling through those things in the dark...

well web texturised I was thinking, so that they hinder your progress
through the cave like a thick cobweb might. Getting stuck would be
great though haha - just a little difficult to do I imagine. Be great
if you could hack them up and cut your way through a cobwebed cave.

might be possible, might be a better idea to use the daedra version of it and change the texture on that.

Ok guys you have now got me hooked. I've already made 2 staight
sections. A left turn. Right Turn. T junction. Large Chamber. Straight
section with chamber.
Its so much fun and I love using the sculpt tool which gives me some nice natural looking walls.
I'm gonna make a piece where you can see through a hole up into the
sky. The hole will have grass and ferns on the edge so it will look
like you are looking into the jungle. Infact you will be looking at one
of the concave discs like on the door models.
Gonna make a another retex of the spider once I've done this to go imto the cave. Maybe a boss version aswell.
Also found out that oldlivion will work on this onboard graphics so
when I get home in 10 days at least I will be able to play test when
away. Unfortunatly there is no oldCS which is stupid as I will be able
to play the game but not usethe CS. I tried using the Oldlivion shaders
but it still crashes when it loads.
Chris the spider model is rigged on the deadre skeleton and uses its animations anyway.
