Yer you just have to manually place it on. Shouldn't be to hard (just a little time consuming). If you place the same grass types as the surrounding I reckon the trap will be pretty hidden.

You can add death activators right? If you fell in a recken you wont be able to jump out so it would have to kill the player?

Cool So it wont be a problem but will make the landscape even more interesting. Any more ideas of things to make. I've pretty much made the urnace/cooker and just need to finish the textures for the glowing litchen. I would have done it last night but left my cherger at the windsurf club!!

That pit is very very cool. Looks very tribal :)

I wonder what else you could put your modelling skills to..I cant believe we are stuggling for ideas. What about hide stretchers? Like hunting skins stretched across wooden (or bone) frames? Would be nice for any little camp or traders hall.

Also, what about ingredients? Kollopi could be quite easy to make (I think!), some nice bone china could be cool too, oh wait you already did the bowls an plates right? Damn, I cant keep up!

I'm just throwing these ideas out there, we really need concepts Frown

Well I might be able to draw something in a month or two but there's a downside. In that same time I think I need to take a break from modding to get my portfolio of the ground.

Thanks Durdain and its nice to here from you again.

Hide staretchers are already being made (Skyrim I think) so I dout there is much point in making them. There are already kolipi models what will there ingredient be. Just some flesh whihc could be a retex of an existing ingredient.

yer I've made plate, bowl and two cups already. I could make a knife and fork a suppose. Not very inspiring though?

Cheers for the ideas though, Tom

Hmm on the models front how about some new rugs and tapestries? Or even pictures? I realise thats motsly texture work but a few new shapes would be very original for the mod and its interiors.

Better yet, what about some shrubberies (as the Knights of Ni would say) that could be put itno some kind of basket for hanging in interiors, or a base like those seen in Morrowind. Soil filled pots that could be overflowing with tropical plants, would be a nice touch for some of the larger interiors I think, especially communal ones.

I'll see if I can get some concepts of plants and what I mean down on paper, I'm not great at drawing though and this isn't particularly fantastic stuff we're talking about but its defo the stuff that gets one immersed into a new world. :)

Ill give them ago. What materiral would the rugs be made out of. Retex will probably look fine and save time ill see. Texturing is my favorite thing.

Big plant pots do sound good. Like what OBmon did with his interior but with pots. Ill defo do this it will be easy.

Here is a render of some lichen which can be placed in caves. They will have glow maps and emit light. They will be the only light in certain caves.

Ill make a few more varieties and scale then with the cave peices tonight. I then have to download the Blender Nif scripts unless you have blender then I can send you the blend file. I also have to make the glowmap textures.

Ill have them done by tommorow although the internet is probably to slow today to download python and the scripts. So they wont be in Nif format.

Havn't done the lichen (due to lack of Nif exporting) but I've got something better I completed.

Its the Furnace/Cooker to be placed outside houses. I will also retex a fish to make it look half cooked tonight to complete the model (added separatly). I think it came out really well. Its 274 polys (number in corner of blender(is it polys?)). The render has a subsurf which makes it 721 is this too much? Its works from sap/oil in the bowl.

What do ppl think? There is one mistake which is the greener bottom (to make it blend with the ground) is in the middle area. It only requires a 1 min Uv change though. You get what I mean?

I'm gonna download the Nif files today so the lichen should be ready for tommorow.

Cheers guys. I went diving today (no wind) so I didn't have time download the files. The internet is also really slow again so its downloading at 3kb/s for 10mb so it wont be tommorow (sorry). Ill complete them and make glow maps + ill start the planters for interiors.

It was meant to have it at the bottom just he bit in the middle of the cooker. It was also only on one side.

I have now made 2 interior pots. Love making stuff like this its so easy usingthe spin function in blender. Both varieties have a soil and empty version. Just wanted to ask, what shall I make them out of. What material?

I also aim to improve the Ndib pots as the Uv maps are pretty bad. Morm you started the building improvments yet?

Wow thats a pretty big explanation for the pots. I will try and make some amber ones. It will be easy in blender but harder for oblivion. In the mean time I have textured them like pots. There are two types one with soil and one without. Off memory the full pots are 225 polys while the ones with soil and 180 (or less). Again what do you think?

I know its not really to do with the mod but I wanted to improve my Blender skills and to show you guys. Here is a render of my coral using Yafray. Everything is normal mapped. To create the rays I used 2 spots with Halo on shining through a plane with holes cut in. (I may post a image of the layout if anyone wants to see). There is a mist effect also added to give the water some depth. A normal lamp creates the shadows and illuminates the coral properly.

What do you think:
http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/8851/...ndercopyoz2.jpg

I have also started exporting the coral ready for the Cs. I am also doing retex of the Mudcrab.

I was gonna make premade coral lumps and export like that although I think I will export all the bits seprate so that there are infinite options to make in the CS.

I'm now coming home in 4 days so ill sorta few things out then. Bad new is i'm only home for a week and a half as i'm going to Veniswala. Again to go windsurfing :) . I may see how well the cs performs on my laptop so I can do some work on the island as well as modelling!

OK i'm at home now although I have one small problem. I left my laptop charger in Egypt. I ordered another one today so I've got 1-2 days without access to my laptop files. In the mean time ill add the files to the .esm and try them ingame.

Ill also install the Cs on my laptop when it comes to see how it runs then I can mod away.
