Yeah, I'm liking that too. I wondered if perhaps you were to use a few Ayleid brick models retextured appropriately and insert them into the clean break then it might create the effect of it being more broken up. That would just be a case of assembling them in the CS. That's just my own completely crap attempt at sounding like I know what I'm doing with modelling. =)
Btw, nice work on the interior. It works well with the hammock, doesn't it?

Yeah, the breaks still look too clean. The breaks need to be "chunkier" and more ragged, possibly with similarly textured bricks sticking out, here and there (see Ibsen, you're catching on to what looks good, in modeling )
But the bridge is looking better, now that the bottom arching piece is also broken. Thanks for the tutorial link, SG! KP
Yeah, don't let those little turds get you down. Dingleberries stick for a while, but eventually they fall off.

Quote:Originally posted by Koniption.. Hi! Sorry for plugging in, but I have to comment something. Arch bridge or any other arch construction would collapse if the arch would collapse. So actually, it makes sense that upper area is collapsed while lower bearing arch still stands. If the lower part collapses, the construction will either completely fail or until the upper part takes the arch function if it's capable. In reality, the bridge like the one made here could stand only if upper part was made of prestressed concrete. On a simple arch, there's a key stone and if you remove it, it will collapse. Sorry for the digression, don't let this bother you since it is game after all and everything is possible! |

Lucky us then , there were no keys in the arches.
:goodjob: for the info. Latest screens Can't find a better texture for the destroyed zone. I'd say it's the final version. About the bricks , i'd say it would be better if the modder adds them as she/he likes. - also , in BM rains pretty hard , pretty much all the time ; that much water would corrode the bridge. |

It looks a lot better now!
Yeah, I'd say it's the final version, too. Don't forget to update the collision shape, to fit the new broken bridge end shape. But try to retain as much of the original collision mesh, as possible, on the areas that were not tweaked by you, since I've already made the collision mesh as simple as possible on those areas, while still leaving the bridge functional. Preparing the archive now.
The collision is updated. and the entire nif is around 800 kb with detailed collision. Files sent to IG and KP. @IG could you update the models claims thread when you have the time ? :] |

Beautiful stuff! I'm off to Nu-Tlak now to get it fixed in-game. I'll take screenshots if I have time to enter the game and post them up here.
