looks wicked. I agree on the ceiling texture. and the floor texture.
floor texture would be easy to replace with a superior version without any hassle me thinks. =)

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like it
I've been offline for the last two days, working away on the tileset. The four Room pieces are done, and so are three of the Hall pieces. In the left screenshot you see the room pieces in the foreground, which connects to a "Hall 2way" piece. In the middle screenshot you see the same "Hall 2way" piece which connects to the "Hall ramp" piece. And to the right is the "Hall End" piece, which can close off a hall system (an alchove in a room for instance). I'm undecided on the texture I used on the arch on the End piece. I had to use a tall texture for technical reasons, to fit with the automatic mapping of the spline it started out as, or so I thought. But while working on that piece I noticed the max exporter had gained a particular functionality I wasn't aware of (it can handle map settings made in the material editor), so I may be able to use the normal wood texture on it after all. I'm not sure what happened to Stilgar, or Entarted for that matter. I know sandor has been in contact with Stilgar, and I sent an email to Entarted about two weeks ago asking him to send the work he's done so far on the Tower of Silgrad. No reply. Would be a pity if we never got to see his tower in our mod, and an even greater pity if we never saw those guys here again. Ghogiel: Yup, the floor texture will have to be changed, it doesn't look anything like the one in TES3. I rather like the ceiling texture though, mostly because it blends well with the wall texture. Quote:Originally posted by Rincewind: It's not a bad idea, but I prefer the approach of emulating Bethesda's design and then try to improve it in the same architectural design. I don't think Stilgar's design reminded very much of Hlaalu, even if it did look good in itself.
