obviously ald'skar is laser proof :yes:
EDIT: wow, nothing usefull at all to post sending this thing to the 4th page. uhm, im gonna agree with grumbler about the redoran testimonials. not to mention if we did one of each type of person from each walk of life it seems to me would feel strange. not saying they have to be purely redoran accounts, just a majority also, these arn't going to be common books since the attack was recent and they arnt exactly "mages guild charters" or temple propaganda
We live in deeds, not years; in thoughts, not breaths;
In feelings, not in figures on a dial. |

Some thoughts (going for page 5) :
- Two significant books on the battle itself: o One done mainly from the Redoran viewpoint, and quite consciously done as propaganda to accentuate Redoran heroism and encourage the Redoran to stay to rebuild the city. After all, House Redoran is definitely taking a standing eight count right now and lesser affiliated houses are quite probably eying the exits. Mostly "true", but where not designed to exaggerate Redoran and lessen all others: the other GHs, ashlanders, and the other peoples of the Empire. o One done more samizdat-style which as others have said, recounts the story from a "Band Of Brothers" prespective. Since the fires of Oblivion forge bonds of adamantium, these are the battlefield and aftermath prespectives from a group of highly diverse people, all of whom fought and survived together. As a result, those who did survive, great and small, are bonded forever and those of the band who failed to survive are remembered as long. This could be done in the periodically-appearing BHC style as a reaction to the official accounts' dishonor of their comrades' heroism. Later, Steve |

It just doesn't seem as epic if one claw isn't destroyed as well. Just picture that epic moment where it's grabbing the sigil stone, everyone is watching, it's cracking and fire is spewing out and other unstable energies looking as if about to explode, and in a spit second it shatters and fires, blasting the claw off as the pieces of the sigil stone fall with it. It just seems cooler if the claw breaks. Then picture it when it doesn't. It's only the claw, not like a gaping hole right in the middle of the shell.
Lol what?
