nope, it does not clean it automatically. i would clean it, but its not really necessary if you dont see any errors in your plug in or in game. i would check the plugin details to see if the mod modifies anything from vanilla, if it does you should clean it. im a bit paranoid as the utility is automatic
do you have msn? im rather interested i must admit Mongati HoonDing tiavo; li-mansao einei diang. Cassandra for the memospore era |

Quote:Originally posted by InsanitySorrow relating to a point raised here: Lights and Docks . I don't know if they'd match, really. The cave models would have to be relatively small so that their roofs don't look too 'set' against the top of the cave and, although I like to use the Bravil models because of their wooden platforms that can be placed on stilts and hang over the chasm, they are nonetheless too tall (with too many floors) to fit comfortably inside the cave. Bravil models are smaller but I'd prefer a wooden, makeshift effect strung together by little bridges and walkways. I've attached some screenies of my first tentative experiments with the cave village to show you the approximate dimensions. I can send you the cave interior as well if you need to see this for yourself. Nonetheless, I'm hoping to have a watery chasm which, if you immerse yourself in it, you can find a trapdoor leading to the lowest house. This will serve as a nice opportunity for quest-makers. I'd also like to do something cunning with the rock-shelf that runs along the top but I'm not sure what yet. A first encounter with a caged Sarpa might occur either here on this shelf or in the basement of that low house... =)

A point: Just re-textures IG, not new models
Ok so nothing for the cave since Bravil has large buildings, are you satisfied with me working with the Bravil set and re-texturing them like I did the Bruma set, or should I continue with the Bruma Set. Its up to you

I guess I could use the Stonewastes buildings but then again, you wouldn't get too much moss inside a cave. All of what you see here is still very tentative anyway.
However, I started playing with the file again tonight and gave it a little more character. I have used an enlarged kennel for a sentry post with another small kennel for some other creature. Both structures are currently floating in anticipation of acquiring a platform that will help me to make both this area and others hang together properly. This is the entrance to the village (it shows up as the last screenshot here). At the top of the first building, which is covered in vines, is access to the rocky overhang (see shot #1). I'm still not sure what to do with that overhang just yet though. The second shot shows a bridge leading off left from the entrance. I presently have a large fire strung up in a cage. I quite like it but I'd intended to have a captured Sarpa on display...I dunno. You'll notice a seat for a watchful resident positioned so he can see both the entrance and the cage. I also used some roots. The third shot shows the lowest house again. The trap door inside the pool might actually lead to an underground escape passage in case the vagabonds of the village need a quick getaway if they get discovered.

Quote:Originally posted by InsanitySorrow Ach, in that case I could use some new models from someone. I'll post up a request and see what happens. I think this Bravil set will be fine...unless you have some fancy texture that you think will work really well here...? As for the Bruma set, I now have some news on that. The Guild building and the other one would be cool although I'd quite like some kind of barracks-type building as well because my thinking is that Tenmar Wall secretly houses persons hostile to the Hist (possibly including renegade Argonians?). The secretive stuff is kept inside the cave (such as the captive Sarpa) but the militia element (who have been told to keep their mouths shut) will need a place to sleep. The three buildings might possibly form a horseshoe shape around the incline in the cliff so if there is something like a hall which is quite long and thin then that would be ideal. However, the textures to be used for the stone of the cliff (and therefore the textures for the stone part of the buildings) will be either the GreatForestMoss textures or the Dementia rock textures. Any preference, people?

Got nothing fancy IG , unless you have a specific look in mind, I might be able to do it, but depends and what crazy ideas you got cooking
Tell you what, you make up Tenmar wall in the CS as you have been doing, when you are satisfied with the buildings you are using let me know what they are, then I can re-texture those instead of me doing loads and them not being the ones you like. I am happy with the texture for the bottom, do you want to see just moss or a bit o' stone on there too , if its the dementia stone then thats ok, qestion answered I like the way its looking, good job IG :goodjob:
