Ooh that's nice. I think concept art is very usefull most of the time. (I look at them most of the time when i run out of ideas)

Looking forward to the next one on the list. Ooh, and i think most of them will be usefull. Although Tlo will know for sure wich ones will be usefull.
Great job!

The only things we really dont need are ghosts, and graves. or at least not very many.
there's no denying your talent there, but two things are "bothering" me about this, one, it is displayed as a scene, which is not helpful from a modelling point of view, if you could take the ideas (floral mostly) that you used for this scene, and do them as detailed drawing of singled specimens, that is a more useful (albeit less fun to draw) form of concept.

Secondly, I think if we have shelved fungus as seen on that there tree, people are going to think of it as being a bit like the Bitter Coast in Morrowind. How about wierd bulbous fungus (possible slighly luminescent?) that seem like boils or warts on the tree, or twisted mushrooms that extend from the root of the tree upwards (to blend in with mangroves) with a crown of wispy tendrils instead of a cap?

Just thoughts,

Edd
I'm gonna land firmly on both sides of the fence here. Smile I like the panoramic drawings 'cause they establish an overall look and they're just so gosh-darn cool. Big Grin But speaking as an occasional modeller, Edd has a point. In addition to the panoramas, we need drawings of the individual concepts from at least a couple of different PoVs as well as some idea of scale using English, metric or PC heights (~ 128 Max units).

Just my thoughts,
Steve

Agreed. :check:
People...

I didnt put the ghosts and graves in this scene as they are so rare. Did put 2 lil faces peering from the darkness.

I will definitely get the detailed individual drawings done now, will take 30mins. Scale wise, i will give my opinions when posting.

Mushroom wise i already thought glowing shrooms (Thief:The Dark Project style) and happy to make them unique to the area.

Will add the drawings in a lil while! Thanks for the comments! The more the better.
Right here we go...
