if its not the dds its the material properties probably. i'd go off the ones on the vanilla fort sets.
yep, deffinatly better. perfect i think.
okay, good, I'll just go with this then.
wheew.
What a relief, I can't imagine any other problems will come up, seems I've finally come around every problem I would think to run into, now I only have to focus on the best part about the whole thing, the modelling.
Thanks to everyone, guys and gals, for helping me out with this, your help have been invaluable, I won't forget it. Thank you!
Very nice!
One thing: the merlons (or parapets or "things that stick up"
) need to be closed off. But now that the material thing has been sorted out, the ovrall effect is very good.
Steve
no you see, this is just one model I, I just rotated a few of them 180 degrees.
I got it under control, don't worry, it's supposed to look like that.
Very nice work Tobi! I can't wait to try out modding with your set
Very nice job there. I liked it shiny though
The last version is too bland for my liking.
Things are getting a little busy though, I got RL stuff to do, and a little gaming as well, with all these great titles; The Witcher, Crysis and COD4.
We will get some laptops though when we get to the US, so I will be able to work on it in the evening.
Thank god for laptops, seriously Tolkien isn't that great.
