These are the Armors in game, forgot to take pictures of the female versions. The manchu armor is giving me trouble but I expected that. I might get rid of the front and back skirt plates they don't deform well.

We could have another color for the armor in addition to the one you already have, like one with red laquered steel plates, so we will have a red armor and a black armor =)
For the lace, the red armor would look best with yellow lace.
The black armor would look great with light purple lace.


About the skirt plates that don't deform well, i feared this would happen.
When i looked at the picture i thought: would it be possible to fix the problem by making the upper part of the front skirt plate wider (the side plates would have to be adjusted accordingly), and maybe make the lower part of the front skirt plate less wide, that way it would deform so that it would look like the top and bottom of the skirt plate are the same size when in-game. (this sounds desperate, and it is).
Strange how the "blades" armor does not have the same problem, it has skirt plates, right?
Anyway, don't just remove the skirt plates... that will make me cry ;(

I like the armors in-game even with the deformation problem, but the boots will have to go, they have to be replaced with armored tabi (kogake), you can see them HERE it's the bottom left picture.

Hara means stomach, I knew that. Your idea on how to fix the plates will most assuredly not work, in fact it would make it worse. The Blades armor does deform same way, badly.

Question: Do we use both obi meshes or get rid of one?

The first three links don't work, but from what i've seen the textures look great :goodjob:

I can't see the backside of the obi, so i'm not sure if we should use the old and new meshes, i would have to see them both on one picture to compare them.
But if you think the new mesh is better, then it would probably be best to replace the old mesh.

I snagged them from the Poser model. The rest of the models' poly counts were far to high to use.

What about the texture?
The shin-guard looks like a type that's made of solid plate, it should be laquered black for this armor LINK (and a red version for the red armor).

Black lacquered, that is the most easily textured surface, I should finish it soon.
