Does the Dawn/Dusk Fang really look like that?

The hilt of the ebony sword looks nice :goodjob:
The chitin weapons could have been a souvenir taken by Tsaesci pirates from Morrowind, so we can place a small number of them in northwest tsaesci =)
We should not forget about the o-dachi, if you want to model one, i can show you a good example tomorrow :yes:
We also need some weapons/armor/clothing from India, not just Japan and China, so we should talk about the things we want.
Putting the chitin ones in as loot from Morrowind is an excellant idea.

How do you do textures for your swords?
Btw - sorry Akavir team for lack of updates from us, but we have still few people working at our side and those aren't modellers.
Right now we are focusing to make Game Design Document so we wont' make things blindly "when idea comes". And I have to write my dissertation so my time is limited.

That's ok, no problem, most modders/teams have problems like that.
Corthian uses pictures of real japanese swords for the models, i could even tell who made one of the swords just by looking at the picture of the blade (with most swords, that's impossible to do), i also i dentified the work of the Tsunahiro school (but wrong smith/time period, but that was almost impossible to tell).
So I like Corthians swords a lot, just because he uses real blades, Corthian you rock! :bananarock:

Anyway, i would like to see this one in-game, the pictures and text are perfect to see how large it is and how it is shaped.
The polish of the blade makes it look a bit unclear, but i can e-mail you the picture of my own O-dachi for a better blade texture if you think that's needed.
Note: Meh, my Odachi has a longer blade
I am right now looking into Indian and middle eastern weapons, they are pretty weird, but that's what I like about them. Also if you look closely at the Mazken (Dark Seducers) swords in SI they are Keris, a Filipino weapon that was on my to do list. I am still planing on making my own of course.

Maybe I will give them enough to Silgrad and VVardenfell, I want to change the textures a bit.
Do you think it would be enough for me to get the high quality models for the Silgrad Tower mod?
I tried to visit Silgrad, it was nice riding a horse across the desert, then I fell through ground and found myself swimming 50 feet bellow the ground. The Redoran city in the mod looked more like a city in the Dark Marsh, I had to swim to each house. I didn't stay long, I fast traveled to SI the next day. I'm sorry for the rant, it's just that the patch didn't help.
Corthian, swimming under a desert sounds wrong. I haven't gotten SI yet.
If you want to give the weapons to other mods, that is your choice. We'd love to put a couple in as lost pirate loot. However, it is your work, and we will abide by your decision on that.
