well....
I would'nt call bonemold light... and its not heavy either...
DAMNIT! why did Bethesda take it out! and spears! and mounted combat! and hot chicks! ( )
well, lets have a debate... in traditional Dunmer society... Bonemold functioned as the general heavy armor... it wasn't all that heavy, but considering they usually had light armor in material and design... bonemold would be considered heavy....
now yes there's ebony and glass... and although the material of glass and the intricate making of it make it a light armor.... its really a heavy light armor... or a super light heavy armor...
bonemold would be a light heavy armor... or a pretty heavy light armor
and House Indoril clansmen have metal to reinforce their bonemold... guess what! that makes it heavier than regular bonemold...

so that's my reason for bonemold and Indoril and Ordinator being in heavy.... what's the reason for it bring light?
I'm not trying to argue, just want to prove my point and want to hear yours too
My point is so that it goes in order with high indoril armor. I think high indoril armor is made of heavy admantium and ebony. What is darkbrotherhood armor made of in morrowind?

I think it's made out of regular cloth with leather padding added in, all dyed black. At least in Morrowind, I think it was. Oblivion's looks more cloth with less leather padding, as well as being multiple shades of black and gray.

Quote:Made of a mix of chain and leather. it is light and strong, since it chains are made of Admantium. it is a prized armour for all Dark Brotherhood members.
It sounds like it could be true but I dunno if the devs ever said wat DB armor was made of by te way I got the info here.

that's a semi-reliable sight... but don't take it for truth

BTW, there's Indoril armor, then there's Ordinator armor.... of course since it is the Indoril who began Ordinators.... the armor was very similar... but Ordinator armor is more metal than bonemold... and High Ordinator is metal
Some ramblings from me Smile

In my personal opinion the most important armor to bring back is Bonemold. Not to say other armor types aren't important, but to me nothing says "Dunmer Country" as much as Bonemold does. I can buy bandits and smugglers wearing Imperial/Common armor if need be, but a lack of Bonemold would ruin much of the atmosphere of playing a mod set in the Morrowind Province. Plus, as it's the default armor of Dunmer guards, it's something the player is likely to see while exploring just about any city, whether on the island or on Morrowind's mainland.

Oh, and I think that since this thread was started, Bethesda released a concept art sketch of the Dreugh. Since they're bringing back the creature, maybe they'll bring back the armor as well? I sure hope so. If they do, a simple retexture of that might yield a convincing Bonemold armor, at least until something more suitable pops up? Smile
sounds good...
if possible, I hope to have all the Morrowind armors and a few more besides....
hopefully, many can be made from re-textures, etc.

but yeah, bonemold is VERY much part of Morrowind.... like western steel armor is to Cyrodiil, bonemold is to Morrowind...
Its gonna be hard to have differnt and balanced stats for each piece of armor in this mod.I dont think high ordinator armor is made of steel it wouldin't of had such good stats if it was steel,I think high ordinator armor is made of Adamantium and Ebony.high indoril armor was the 2nd best complete matching suit of heavy armor in the morrowind.
yeah...
and also how a lot of Morrowind books praised the caliber of netch armor... and how a skilled warrior can utilize the membranous leather armor to absorb and dodge blows....
and netch is also supposed to be the best leather armor around... or at least superior to Western styles of leather armor....
In Morrowind, I think that Vivec wore half of the Bonemold armor...
