So what needs to be done? any new files? Any new stuff i should know about? And i just noticed that we need more Dungeons/Caves etc

Yes, it's great to be back Deeza and simon! My exams actually went pretty good, I can't complain. Well, almost. I didn't really have much of a private life or free time, as you can imagine.

Anyhow. I'm done with schooling, having to serve 9 months of civil service next. That'll leave plenty of time for modding I hope. As for our future plans, I agree with Deeza. We should concentrate the quests. As for playtesting, I really need some help from you guys. I was coming up with a new file management aswell. I'm going to create a little database for our files, including the newest ESM and the newest release of the mod esp, also of windsurfers cave system, even though I'm not sure we can use it in it's current shape, can we? I will then need some help from you or your friends, whoever we can get to playtest that mama, since I'm really sick of running through the same areas over and over again. I'll let you know about the progress of the mod on the database website, and about everything else on another thread on here. Is everybody OK with that solution? Just an approach to get things not too mixed up, trying to get rid of popular questions like "Where's the newest ESM etc...", I'm not trying to gain creative control Smile

Omber requested more caves and dungeons. I basicly see his point, for we don't have too much outside areal. On the other side: What do we want to create? A fantastic world full of atmosphere or a dungeon crawler? Besides, were are we going to locate those dungeons? The island is full already, there's almost no possibilty of getting lost in the "jungle", which kindof sadens me.

Anyhow, these are my, how do you say nowadays, two cents Smile
Give me some feedback, I'd like to get this mod done.

PS: Deeza, can you contact windsurfer about those issues? I don't want to annoy him again by trying to push things.

EDIT; I could try to optized the Windsurfers cave tile set, however I might need to start all over since they dosent seem to tile right.. plus the textures seem to be missing.
You will have lots of BETA testing to do, I'll release a version of the game today or tomorrow. Well, rather tomorrow, it's 11:49pm in Germany.
I don't know if windsurfer will be happy with you modding his tileset, but you could alter it, giving credit to him. You might also start over and create a new cave tile set, we'll be happy for every set we can get our hands on. :goodjob:
I would rather make some new tiles for the old one, as well as rooms. and prehaps some stuff to decorate the caves with..
As I said, any contributions concerning tile sets or and especially clutter items are very welcome to our mappers Smile

Is one of our current members any good at texturing? Maybe they can help you out on that? About the spidercave tileset, I haven't found them on my computer so far, so I guess I'm no good to you.

PS: Jeez, it's a pain in the ass debugging the mainquest. The two removed spiders the new ESM brought with caused more trouble than you might have thought. And I begin to hate Sammanul, for he's never doing what I tell him to, little bugger. Oh well, so far.
well, I dont need new textures, i just need the old ones, which are gone from the newest ESM.
